For many evangelical and Zionist Christians, the Hebrew word Torah carries a beautiful and ancient ring. They hear it and immediately think of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy.
They imagine Moses on the mountain.
They imagine the commandments written in stone.
They imagine the Old Testament as they know it. For them, Torah simply means Scripture.
